The Musée Lumière (Lumière Museum) in Lyon, France, is the birthplace of cinema. Housed in the stunning former Art Nouveau family villa of the Lumière brothers, the museum lets visitors explore the invention of the Cinématographe, early cameras, color photography, and original short films on the exact site where they were created.
